Latest News From Hanmer Springs - Feb 2010.
MARCH 2010.
Hanmer Springs has had its first Jazz Festival and it was a big hit. Hundreds of people attended. This is expected to be an annual event in the last weekend of February each year. The weather is still very warm and will continue for March & the local walks and mountain bike tracks are all in good condition. The St James Walkway is getting plenty of use this time of year and the Molesworth also. Just a note to the wise, do not take either of these tracks lightly. You need the proper gear and always get the latest information of DOC ( Department of Conservation). Dont just think that you can drive the Molesworth using a 2 wheel drive car.

Have a great March and come and visit us in Hanmer Springs as much as possilbe.
