Whats happening in Hanmer Springs - September 2010.
The Hanmer Springs Village is going through a transition currently with many new houses being built and several high quality accommodation providers building appartments and motels. The newest of these will be the St James Motels opening in early October 2010, right in the middle of the Village. Hanmer Springs is not just a great place to stay but the village and local business need more people to come an live. There are only around 1200 people living in Hanmer Springs but more than half a million people visit the thermal pools each year. The ski season will be coming to an end soom but the Hanmer Springs Ski Area has had a great year with much more snow than for the last few seasons. The Thermal Pools is also expanding with the new sensation pools and the large family pool area with fun slides. We believe that Hanmer Springs has great fun for all members of the family from the very young to the old. Come and book your next holiday in Hanmer Springs. We would love to see you.
